Contrast on your phone
Build and test your app from anywhere, chat-first, on iOS.
The Contrast iOS app is a chat-first companion to the browser workspace. You open a project, talk to the factory, and watch your app come together. It is the same factory that builds in the browser, in your pocket.
The app is in TestFlight beta. It is not on the App Store yet. Expect rough edges and frequent updates.
What you can do
- Chat with the factory. The main screen is a chat. Describe what you want,
for example
Add a settings screen with a dark mode toggle, and the agents build it. Answer their questions inline as they work. - Switch projects. Pick any of your projects from the overview and pick up where the workspace left off. Your work syncs across devices.
- Watch previews. See the web preview and the native iOS preview update as agents land changes, without a desk.
- Test on the go. Interact with a running build from your phone, so you catch problems in real conditions instead of a simulator.
Get the beta
The beta ships through TestFlight:
- Install TestFlight. Get Apple’s TestFlight app from the App Store on your iPhone.
- Open the invite. Follow the TestFlight invite link for Contrast, then tap Accept and Install.
- Sign in. Open Contrast and sign in with the same account you use in the browser workspace.
Beta builds update often. Turn on automatic updates in TestFlight so you always run the latest.
What it is not
The phone app is for driving and checking work, not a full editor. Deep editing, the file tree, and the multi-pane spaces live in the browser workspace. Reach for the browser when you need to dig into code, and reach for the phone to keep a build moving while you are away.
